Millennials and Gen Zers grew up in a world that encouraged recycling and social good. Instead of donating money directly to causes, consumers under the age of 40 are increasingly choosing to patronize brands that give back as a core mission. Yoobi, a philanthropic school and office supply company, is one of these brands. For every item purchased, Yoobi donates a school supply item to a child in need in the U.S. So far, it has contributed to 5.5 million students.
Yoobi Marketing Director Jess Benton will share the company’s journey over the past five years, insights, lessons learned and highlight how giving back plays a central role in its success.
About the Speaker: As marketing director at Yoobi, Jess oversees the company’s give program and licensing initiatives. She prides herself on building long-term personal and professional relationships and has a passion for utilizing her talents at companies rooted in purpose. Prior to joining Yoobi in 2019, Jess spent 10 years in PR and marketing roles for a wide array of brands.
