AZIMA Mission

Founded in 2009, the Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps Arizona marketing services firms, businesses, educational institutions and students improve their understanding and application of interactive marketing best practices. Driven by an extreme passion for interactive marketing, the founders of AZIMA (joinazima.org) created an organization to help foster a better understanding of interactive marketing.

AZIMA is the place Arizonans turn to for interactive marketing education and networking, providing its members with leading edge online marketing strategies, tactics, ideas and solutions.

AZIMA Academic Outreach Mission

• Provide one or more scholarships to Arizona universities each year based on a university's contribution to Arizona's interactive marketing community.

• Participate in the development of curricula, events and research that help shape academic outputs as catalysts for growing Arizona businesses.

• Provide a conduit to internship opportunities for students.

• Provide a conduit to jobs for graduates.

• Will someone take the lead on hiring, mentoring and directing an intern?

• Will there be an opportunity to convert this into a full-time position at some point?
